This strategy document aims to create a framework which will build on the growth that has been achieved since the formation of Positively Wellington Tourism in 1995. Specifically, the strategy seeks to:
- Set direction for all stakeholders to enable greater contribution and engagement
- Clarify roles and responsibilities of the key stakeholders in Wellington’s tourism sector and in the delivery of the visitor experience
- Set clear action points for planning, investment in, and development of Wellington’s tourism product and infrastructure
- Provide a platform to drive even more effective and effi cient outcomes from marketing activities.
